FAQ

frequently asked questions

How do I book a session?

- Once you've decided on a package, then click here to view my calendar with my current availability.
- Choose your date & time from my calendar, then fill out the booking form & questionnaire.
- We require a $50 non-refundable retainer in order to reserve your date and time.
- Once your booking is confirmed, I will be reaching out to you with more information regarding your session.

How far in advance should I book my session?

The earlier the better! My calendar books up months in advance, so I suggest booking your session at least 3-5 months prior.
You can find the link to my calendar with my current availability here.

Where will the session take place?

A few weeks before your session we will chat about what type of location you're looking for. From there I will give you several
options to choose from. Some locations may require a travel fee depending on the distance.

What should I wear?

Once you have booked your session, I will send you a copy of my Senior Photoshoot Guide which has a ton of helpful tips on what to wear. A few basic tips;

1. Wear whatever you feel comfortable & confident in
2. We will be doing a variety of poses, like sitting, kneeling, etc. so make sure to bring at least 1 outfit that includes pants/jeans.
3.  Don't be afraid of color! Adding color to your outfits that accentuate your features will really make a difference. Refer to my seasonal color swatches in your Senior Photoshoot Guide for more suggestions.
4. Avoid neons. Neons are so bright that they tend to cast a color to your skin tone. Ex. Instead of hot pink, opt for a softer pink.

Do you help with posing?

Absolutely! I will help guide you throughout the entire session with different poses and prompts.

What if I need to reschedule?

If you need to reschedule you can check my calendar here for future availability. Once you've found a new date & time that you would like to switch to, you can e-mail or text me your new date & time and I will adjust it for you.
* Please do not book a new session & pay another retainer, this will only duplicate your session.

What happens if the weather is bad?

I think we all know the weather in Houston can be unpredictable. But I will make sure to keep an eye on the weather leading up to
your session. I will stay in contact with you and make the best decision for your shoot. If needed, we will reschedule your session
to my next available date.

How do I receive my photos?

About 2-3 weeks after your session I will email you your photo gallery. From there you can download and save your images to share with family and friends. If you would like to purchase prints or graduation announcements, you may do so via your gallery link. These will be
mailed to you from one of my preferred professional printing labs. Or you're more than welcome to download & purchase them
from your printing lab of choice.

Should I get my hair + makeup professionally done?

I highly recommend getting your hair & makeup professionally done. Even if you are just a chapstick & mascara kind of girl. The makeup artists will make sure you look your best self and not "over done". It's also fun to get pampered and takes less stress off of you the day of your session.

Can you edit out my acne and blemishes?

Yes, I will make minor edits like editing out blemishes, bruises, lint etc. If you have something in particular you would or would not like edited out, please make a note in your senior questionnaire.

I would love to do a destination session. do you travel?

OMG, heck yes! If you have a certain destination in mind, contact me for a quote and we'll discuss travel plans.
